Chilling In Chelsea

When the weather is good in London it is arguably the best city in the world. Tonnes of culture, architecture and things to do, London is unrivalled in the heat. One of my favourite places to go when the sun is shining is Kensington & Chelsea. From the aesthetic houses to the polite people, I really do love this area (hopefully I can live there one day).

I took a stroll round Chelsea with the other half and took some photos in a COS tee, Zara jeans and some California washed Sk8-Hi Vans.

Kanye West x adidas | Yeezy Season One Collection Lookbook

Back in February, Kanye West and Adidas unveiled the Yeezy Season One collection on a carefully curated runway during New York Fashion week. We witnessed models of all shapes, sizes and skin tones wearing the fall/winter collection. We also got a closer look at not only the Yeezy 750 Boost’s, but other sneakers from his collection that are yet to hit the shelves.

A month later and we can now see closer press shots of the collection courtesy of Kanye. The lookbook, titled “Season,” was shot by Jackie Nickerson and was edited down by Kanye himself for

London Fashion Week | Spring 2015

London Fashion Week this year was super awesome. I accompanied the better half Nada Adelle to some shows for the women’s collections at Somerset House and Freemason’s Hall. Shows included Judy Wu, Felder Felder, Gyunel and many more.

For the first day of LFW (2nd photo above) I wore a Ted Baker velvet black blazer with a Cos sweater and Cos trousers. The footwear was courtesy of All Saints. Simple, chic and effective for a cold day out in the capital. The photo of me and the mrs was courtesy of David Nyanzi.

Perfect Paris!

Perfect Paris is the best way to describe my 3 day get-away with Nada for her birthday. We chose Paris because it is undoubtedly the city of romance (also because the scenery is amazing for blog pictures). We only had 3 days so we were determined to see and do as much as possible. We visited the Eiffel Tower, The Louvre museum, Notre Damn, the famous “love lock bridge” and even managed to stop off at Laduree, the cake shop renowned for their delicious macaroon’s.

Impeccable Infrared’s

Black Friday today meant one thing. The Air Jordan 6 Retro Infrared’s hit the stores across America and Europe and has made every sneakerhead’s winter. 4 years I waited for these bad boys since the Varsity Red’s dropped in 2010 while resisting to buy an over priced pair like most from Flight Club and eBay.

So how do these Infrared re-releases compare to their predecessors? Well for starters the quality is amazing. Everything from the nubuck suede finish to the remastered OG sole along with the brighter infrared paint. These looks beaut with just about anything to be honest. While the prices of Jordan’s may have gone up to £135, the overall quality has risen too.

Mitch Approved.

Sensational Sneakerboots

Nike have released their latest SneakerBoots collection for F/W 2014 in a number of different styles and colour ways. They have remixed Air Max 90’s, Roshe Runs and Air Force 1’s to name a few and labelled it “Legendary Meets Necessary“. Legendary forms meet heightened functionality. Each SneakerBoot is engineered to protect you from the elements while keeping you warm, dry, and visible.

I decided to opt for the Air Force 1 Lunar Sneakerboot in Brown/Tan. The Roshe’s are also dope but there’s something about the way the AF1’s drop that attracted me. Not only are these comfortable, they are extremely light in weight for a winter boot.

Walking In Wang

I had the benefit of going to the Alexander Wang x H&M shopping event before the release a few weeks back which allowed me to purchase quite a few pieces before the actual release. What I love about this collaboration is that Wang made high-end and high street meet urban in an innovative way.

Most of the pieces in his collection are perfect for wearing with casual sports wear and the scuba material makes it easy to look relaxed and effortless. I decided to wear this grey scuba sweatshirt with some Zara denim jeans and Nike Flyknit Hhukka Lunar’s.

My Air Max 90 Nike iD Creation

Anyone who knows me truly knows that sneakers are my thing. In particular I have an obsession with Nike’s and Air Max 90’s have been a silhouette I have loved since primary school. In my life time I reckon I have owned over 8 different colour ways (Mummy isn’t rich, I just grafted for them).

Although I am a footwear fanatic, I had never made my own custom pair of Nike iD’s despite the option being available since it’s inception in 1999. One of my favourite pairs of sneakers in recent years are the Air Max 90 hyperfuse Independence Day’s. I have them in red but wanted my own custom pair so I decided to make an all grey pair (above) entitled the “Wolf Grey Snowflakes”. I decided to add the volt colour on the logo and my name on the heels with a silver tick and white specks on the sole.
