What’s Up | Promo Trailer

For those of you who don’t know I joined an excellent show this year called What’s Up that used to be on Pick TV but now it’s moving to Sky 1. This magazine show explores the arts & culture that youths in Great Britain are in to from a unique angle.

I kick off the whole series this Saturday at 11.30am by chatting to Dappy and you can catch the show every Saturday morning there after for 6 weeks.

Craig Mitch Joins Sky1’s “What’s Up”

For those of you who don’t know, I am one of the new presenters on the popular arts & culture show “What’s Up“. The show is in it’s 6th series and was on PICK TV (formerly Sky3) for 2 seasons but due to the successful figures they have given the show the opportunity to shine on Sky1 in June.

This is a huge opportunity for everyone involved and I’m extra excited because one of my goals was to break onto a bigger channel in 2014 and Sky1 is as big as they come. I’ve done a few shoots for the show, one including a chat with comedian Kojo for the comedy segment which was hilarious.

The first episode airs Saturday 14th June at 11.30am so set the date in your calenders.

Nelson Mandela Passes Away Aged 95

What a legend! The term “legend” gets thrown around way too much these days but this humble man is the epitome of the word in every sense. Last night, Nelson Mandela quietly passed away at the age of 95. He was a lawyer, activist and prisoner before becoming the first black president of South Africa.

As soon as word got out of his death, Twitter and other social networks were ablaze with tributes and condolences to a man who touched so many. Not only did he bring people together during his life, he managed to achieve it minutes after his death. In my humble opinion this guy was the last of a DEAD breed. There have been many revolutionaries through out time; Malcom X, Martin Luther King Jr, Tupac Shakur even but what this man did was unparalleled. Labelled a terrorist, he rebelled against the apartheid in South Africa and was sentenced to 27 years in prison for his efforts.
