Nelson Mandela Passes Away Aged 95

What a legend! The term “legend” gets thrown around way too much these days but this humble man is the epitome of the word in every sense. Last night, Nelson Mandela quietly passed away at the age of 95. He was a lawyer, activist and prisoner before becoming the first black president of South Africa.

As soon as word got out of his death, Twitter and other social networks were ablaze with tributes and condolences to a man who touched so many. Not only did he bring people together during his life, he managed to achieve it minutes after his death. In my humble opinion this guy was the last of a DEAD breed. There have been many revolutionaries through out time; Malcom X, Martin Luther King Jr, Tupac Shakur even but what this man did was unparalleled. Labelled a terrorist, he rebelled against the apartheid in South Africa and was sentenced to 27 years in prison for his efforts.

Fitted in Ralph Lauren and some stylish ripped jeans, Kanye West surprisingly appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live to make peace in light of their recent dispute. For those of you who have been living under a rock for the last few weeks, Jimmy Kimmel did a spoof of Kanye West’s interview with Zane Lowe, using kids to reenact the controversial chat.

The product resulted in Kanye launching a tirade of Twitter abuse towards Jimmy stating that the spoof was “Disrespectful” and that Jimmy wasn’t even funny.

Craig Mitch On The Set Of TV Show Starated

photo 2

Today I began shooting a brand new sports TV show called Starated with 1 of my co-hosts Layla Anna-Lee. I can’t talk too much about the show until it premieres but it will be on Sky and other presenters on the show include BBC 1Xtra’s Twin B, Will Best and Maya Jama.

As you know, I’ve been working the online circuit for a minute now, so to gather more TV work is fantastic and to talk about celebrities and sports is an absolute bonus.
