Myself and the better half were recently invited to stay at the Melita Hotel in Victoria. The Melita is an intimate yet chic hotel in the heart of Victoria, London and is renowned for it’s hospitality with bloggers.

This place is the perfect stay for anyone wanting to grab great pictures, venture into central London or simply just get some work done. There are even some great coffee shops near by especially The Roasting which does amazing hot chocolates. In the pictures above I’m wearing a grey coat by COS, Zara destroyed denim jeans and Nike tech fleece Presto’s.

#FilthyFellas Takeover JD Sports For Nike Football X

For those of you who don’t know, I am part of a online football show called #FilthyFellas. Over the last year we have built a strong niche following because of our urban influenced banter when talking about the beautiful game. I also present for JD Football so it made sense that the two come together for the launch of the Nike Magista X boot.

Myself, Poet and Vujanic were asked to do a live version of #FilthyFellas in the flagship JD store on Oxford Street for Nike Football X. Grime veteran Logan Sama not only hosted the event but also span some tunes for the crowd who attended.

Impeccable Infrared’s

Black Friday today meant one thing. The Air Jordan 6 Retro Infrared’s hit the stores across America and Europe and has made every sneakerhead’s winter. 4 years I waited for these bad boys since the Varsity Red’s dropped in 2010 while resisting to buy an over priced pair like most from Flight Club and eBay.

So how do these Infrared re-releases compare to their predecessors? Well for starters the quality is amazing. Everything from the nubuck suede finish to the remastered OG sole along with the brighter infrared paint. These looks beaut with just about anything to be honest. While the prices of Jordan’s may have gone up to £135, the overall quality has risen too.

Mitch Approved.

Sensational Sneakerboots

Nike have released their latest SneakerBoots collection for F/W 2014 in a number of different styles and colour ways. They have remixed Air Max 90′s, Roshe Runs and Air Force 1′s to name a few and labelled it “Legendary Meets Necessary“. Legendary forms meet heightened functionality. Each SneakerBoot is engineered to protect you from the elements while keeping you warm, dry, and visible.

I decided to opt for the Air Force 1 Lunar Sneakerboot in Brown/Tan. The Roshe’s are also dope but there’s something about the way the AF1′s drop that attracted me. Not only are these comfortable, they are extremely light in weight for a winter boot.

Walking In Wang

I had the benefit of going to the Alexander Wang x H&M shopping event before the release a few weeks back which allowed me to purchase quite a few pieces before the actual release. What I love about this collaboration is that Wang made high-end and high street meet urban in an innovative way.

Most of the pieces in his collection are perfect for wearing with casual sports wear and the scuba material makes it easy to look relaxed and effortless. I decided to wear this grey scuba sweatshirt with some Zara denim jeans and Nike Flyknit Hhukka Lunar’s.

My Air Max 90 Nike iD Creation

Anyone who knows me truly knows that sneakers are my thing. In particular I have an obsession with Nike’s and Air Max 90′s have been a silhouette I have loved since primary school. In my life time I reckon I have owned over 8 different colour ways (Mummy isn’t rich, I just grafted for them).

Although I am a footwear fanatic, I had never made my own custom pair of Nike iD’s despite the option being available since it’s inception in 1999. One of my favourite pairs of sneakers in recent years are the Air Max 90 hyperfuse Independence Day’s. I have them in red but wanted my own custom pair so I decided to make an all grey pair (above) entitled the “Wolf Grey Snowflakes”. I decided to add the volt colour on the logo and my name on the heels with a silver tick and white specks on the sole.

You can create your own HERE.

Festival ‘Fits

Hockey Jersey: Tampa Bay Lightning | Shorts: Levis | Sneakers: Nike Flyknit | Watch: Marc Jacobs

I’ve been experimenting with looks for the summer especially since the festival season has arrived and the look I’ve thrown together is a mix match. Hockey Jersey’s with shredded shorts and running shoes is a great festival look.

Hockey Jersey’s will always make a statement and the large numerical designs are in fashion at the moment so an authentic jersey will take you to that upper echelon. Cutting a pair of old jeans will create the shredded look which is a rough touch to the festival ‘fit.

I’ve got a new series coming with Flavour Mag called “Festivals With Flavour“where I reek havoc on your favourite UK music fest’s so be on the look out for that.

Mustard Tee’s and World Cup Blues

T-shirt: Cos | Shorts: H&M | Sneakers: Nike Flyknit

With the FIFA World Cup taking place in Brazil this year, the beautiful game has given me mixed emotions. The vibe, culture and overall aesthetics of the Brazilian themed football coverage is perfect. From ITV’s catchy theme song to Gary Lineker’s expert punditry, while the view of Copacabana beach is caught in the distance, this World Cup has so far delivered. So much so, that even I want to wear bright colours to feel involved.

However I can’t seem to shake the disappoint of England’s performance this year. We never really had high expectations because lets face it, we aren’t producing the most talented footballers at the moment but getting out of the group stage has to be the bare minimum. Rooney being played on the left, Gerrard constantly sulking and Defoe being left in Canada to watch via a TV are just some of the things wrong. I could type forever about the faults but instead I’m going to leave it by saying that the World Cup is sponsored by many beverages; Coca-Cola, Budweiser etc. but none of them serve up the cocktail of emotions that the tournament itself delivers.

Wear bright clothes, embrace the summer and watch happily with your loved ones.
