For those of you who don’t know, I am part of a online football show called #FilthyFellas. Over the last year we have built a strong niche following because of our urban influenced banter when talking about the beautiful game. I also present for JD Football so it made sense that the two come together for the launch of the Nike Magista X boot.

Myself, Poet and Vujanic were asked to do a live version of #FilthyFellas in the flagship JD store on Oxford Street for Nike Football X. Grime veteran Logan Sama not only hosted the event but also span some tunes for the crowd who attended.

Craig Mitch & Poet Play With The Xperia From Sony Phones At Top Music Festivals

phjijoto

I recently hit 3 festivals with my good mate Poet on behalf of Sony to have fun with some of their Xperia phones. We filmed at 3 festival which were Reading Fest, SW4 and Sundown in Norwich. The objective was to show off the features of the Xperia Z1 Compact and the Xperia E1 in these festival surroundings and we had a blast.

RWD Mag shot the whole campaign and we even managed to grab celebrity cameos in each visual from Sinead Harnett, MO, Wretch 32, Mike Skinner and many more. Check the first visual below shot at Reading Fest with the Xperia Z1 Compact from Sony:

Keep your eyes peeled for the other three visual that will be unveiled shortly and I’ll update here accordingly. Huge thanks to Sony and RWD Mag.

DJ Target x adidas Originals through a special hip-hop themed karaoke night at Under The Bridge in London recently. Loads of individuals from the UK entertainment industry were all under one roof including Charlie Sloth, Bashy, TOWIE’s Jasmin Walia and many more, vibing and having a great time.

Myself and BBC Radio 1Xtra presenter Yasmin Evans decided to do a duet cover of Wretch 32′s smash hit “Traktor” much to the crowds delight. I got into full character and before we knew it, Wretch 32 himself came on stage for the end of the song and the whole venue went crazy.

The Nike Free Experience

In case you didn’t know I’m apart of a group of individuals called Mindful. Mindful is like a hub for creatives who work together in order to strive and reach goals within the entertainment industry. You can also check out our website.

So myself and the Mindful lot headed down to Victoria House recently for a Nike event called The Nike Free Experience. The event was put together by Exposure to celebrate 10 years of the Nike Free Run sneaker. The exhibition itself was brilliant. There was a live work out taking place, neon lights decorated everywhere and a guy even flew in from Oregon to present the latest technology at Nike HQ.

All in all I had a good time catching up with the experts but I had to jet off to a Dappy interview so my Free Experience was cut short.

Craig Mitch Meets TROY Magician

Processed with VSCOcam with f2 preset

The title of the post is quite misleading because this isn’t the first time we’ve actually met but it is the first time since he changed from Von Majik to Troy. The hilarious thing is since his show went out on E4 everybody has been saying we look alike thanks to our amazing Miguel hair-dos and digestive biscuit coloured skin.

Well a couple days ago we bumped into each other at a music event called Wired which takes place once a month in Shoreditch House. We was even wearing the same ADYN tee so we decided to take a snap to prove we are two different people.

He does magic, I do presenting but we’re both young, fly and ambitious. The End.

Craig Mitch and Poet Speak To Exposure

Im_inspired

As a presenter I’m used to doing the interviewing but on this occasion I became the interviewee to give back to my local community. Exposure Org is a multi-award winning charitable youth media enterprise based in north London. Established in 1996 and an acknowledged leader in the field, Exposure remains true to its core principles of enabling young people to thrive in the media – for the good of others, as well as themselves.

When Poet reached out to me and asked me to do this interview, I was more than obliged because I wanted to share my experiences and wisdom from the entertainment industry so far. What Exposure is doing is a great cause and would like to thank Haringey Council and Flo.

Nike | Sneaker Boots Launch In South Bank

Nike threw a launch for their new Sneaker Boots collection at the National Theatre in South Bank the other night. The collection is all about taking your sneakers to the next level and so they have taken classic and modern favourites such as Air Max 90′s and Roshe Run’s and turned them into hi-top boots. Nike have described them as “legends taken to new heights”.

The event was awesome. It took place on the deck of the National Theatre overlooking the River Thames and Nike had transformed the spacious room into a futuristic, yet lavish area for people to network and enjoy free appetisers.

People who were in attendance included myself, G Frsh, Sincere, Jamie Howard, Tia Ward, Blade Brown, Ghetts plus Poet, who hosted the event with Becks from MTV. My homie @REDNivars took some dope shots including the one of us above and artists who performed on the night included Krept & Konan and Mikill Pane.

Big Thanks to Nike, Dominique and Nana for putting on a slick event.

Ghetts – Party Animal (ft. Kano) | On Set Photos

photo(23)

Yesterday I had the pleasure of being involved in Ghetts brand new video for his single Party Animal featuring his long time friend and beast of a rapper, Kano. I arrived to the location a little late because our car broke down (#FactsOnly) but once I arrived the set looked proper. The video features cameos from myself, Poet and stylist Ayishat Akanbi to name a few and is shot by director Luke Biggins.
